Persian Alphabet
0 of 32 letters learned. Eight short lessons, four letters each — useful whether you're starting from zero or you already speak Farsi and just never learned to read it.
Persian script joins right-to-left, and most letters change shape slightly depending on where they sit in a word — that happens automatically as you type or read, the same way cursive joins up in English. Seven letters (ا د ذ ر ز ژ و) never connect to the letter after them, which is why words containing them have a visible break.
